Water Cooled Power Cables for Smelter Furnace

Water Cooled Power Cables for Smelter Furnace

These cables are available with special anti-corrosive outer covering. They are used for supply electrical current from transformer output i.e. low voltage stationary bus tubes or busbars to busbars of the electrode holding arm of the furnace.

Electric ARC Furnace Cables

These Electric ARC Furnace Cables are used for supplying electrical current from transformer output i.e. low voltage stationary bus tubes or bus bars to bus bars of the electrode holding arm of the furnace. The power required for melting operation, passes through the secondary circuit thus, limiting the losses in this circuit, by way of low reactant & be balanced as close as possible between the phases. This balancing of phase eliminates the transposed resistance component which reduces the hotspot problems in the electric arc furnace. Due to the presence of large fluctuations to which these cables are subjected, the permissible current density should be 4 to 5 A/mm2.

Laddle Refining Furnace

These Laddle Refining Furnaces  are used for supplying electrical current from transformer output i.e. low voltage stationary bus tubes or bus bars to bus bars of the electrode holding arm of the furnace. The power required for melting operation, passes through the secondary circuit thus, limiting the losses in this circuit, by way of low reactant be balanced as close as possible between the phases. Induction Furnace Cables

We design and manufacture Copper High current Water cooled or Air cooled Cables for Induction Furnace Cables. The complete system is calculated to optimise the operational and energy specifications requested by the project. The conductors can be rigid (water or air cooled tubes or bars) or flexible (water cooled cables, braided connections or laminated shunts).
